Not sure if anyone has taken a look at the newest version..they did a major overhaul on the interface. I was way turned off by the old UI a few years ago and was like no way. Another guy in a different forum making model turned me on to this link for Bsurfaces http://www.bsurfaces.info/ this looks like a very fast workflow loaded blender and messed around with it for a bit...had to watch a couple of the blender UI videos to figure it out..this thing is awsome...just wish they had it for modo. If was just gonna start I would go the blender route with the new UI and the price..this one powerful package for free, definitly stacking up with the high dollar big boys. I am just too lazy to learn a whole new interafce again. I wish 3d had some standards as far as ui...would make using diff packages lot more comfortable

John at first I was thinking, oh no he is going after another interface.:) The 3 I am using is enough confusion for me. Now I just need some time to get back to them, and make something.

Stacked up some more medical bills today and it was all in vain. They are trying to get my wife's heart out of a-fibulation. Today was shocking her and it did not work, so change meds then try again in a couple of weeks.

Eddie,

LOL NO NEW UI...I had been meaning to download and look at blender since the new version came out...I saw a guy talkning about bsurfaces for cnc patterns so I checked it out....Blender is now like the big boys, model paint, sculpt and render..and the UI is completely understandable unlike the old...the bsurface beta version comes with blender..think their .v9 beta version...the newest version is like $39.00 add-on
