All the time, as well as vector graphic programs such as CorelDraw, Xara, Adobe Illustrator. PhotoShop Elements also works well.

i got a coupon from Costco for $20 dollars off adobe photoshop 5.0 in the mail. it's good til Jan. 28th. so instead of $80 it will be $60.

That's for Adobe PhotoShop Elements 5.0, not Photoshop CS2 (or version 9) . And it's also a legit ad and price. Costco and other discount stores can and do sell for less than the straight retail price (which is $99.99). And Elements 5.0 is an excellent product for use in CarveWright design. I also have it and use it all the time.
