I just got this message when I raised the lid to check on the heat of the truck, I have been having a truck heating problem lately,
The drive shaft cable is not hot, but the truck is very hot. Only 17 min into a 1hr carve.
Any ideas

Could be a pinch wire or grounding if motor gets that hot

I was carving yard sign with a region and I was using a 3/16 " carving bit. I happen after I lifted the lid to check to see if the Z truck was hot.
When I close the lid and hit enter to cont. that's when the error happend. I stopped, rebooted and repeated the same carving with out removing the sled and
it completed fine, I just completed another of the same project with no troubles.
go figure.

It's a software bug and will be fixed in the next release.

Was your board wide, like 14 or more inches? If it was, you should be able to duplicate the error. If it wasn't, then it's hit or miss and may bite you again.

My Z is running hot too (CarveTight) but its a brand new machine with 10 hours on it. I guess they are supposed to run hot at first.
