Here is a Large Dog Bone that I am doing for my niece to give to her friends, which dog Rusty passed away.

I am now ready to go to the stain and finish stage.

Size is 19"x8" it was pierced carved and it is on select pine.

How dose it look to all of you?

Looks good enough to eat Robert! I am sure your niece's friend will enjoy having the memory of her Rusty!

Good Morning,

Fellow Carvers.

Thank you all for the kind words about the Dog Bone.

Completed the base stain then came back with a little darker color and Air Brushed it on the edges and feathered it so it gives more shape to the bone.

I now just have to paint the paw prints and color fill the lettering.

Should be able to post finished Bone this week.

Looking forward to getting it shipped out and hearing what the people will think. My niece will take it to the parents of Rusty.

Well the Bone is shipped out do to arrive in Denver Saturday, Looking forward to what my niece thinks of it then Don & Lori the partens of Rusty.

Finished bone for your review.Desided not to color fill anything, after a Six women review in the office here at work.47452

The Dog Bone really looks nice & I bet your niece will really like it also. i know the one I made my neighbors really like theirs.
