STORE - ACCESSORIES - TRACTION BELTS
There you will see both types, but I would go with the Heavy Duty ones, if I were you.

Definately go with the Heavy Duty belts. Wish I would have switched long ago instead of a couple of months ago. Can't beat the Heavy Duty belts...

Order Aluminum Oxide Open Coat W-15" x L-13" Grit-120 Dry or just call them and tell them that you want belts for your Carvewright - they know the specs. I ordered extras and the cost was less that $5 per belt.

I actually have only 30 hours on them, but they appear near identical to the original and are working well.

I would deffinitey buy heavy duty ones, having the extra goes a long way sometimes. Capt Barry

Wouldn't it be better for the traction belt to tear in case there is a binding problem? I would think the rubber belts would possibly cause more damage before it ripped.

Plus I can order about 10 sets of the sandpaper type for the price of the rubber belts from the source mention earlier.
Plus it only took me about 30 mins to change them out.
