yes it is acoustic electric. The violin is carved like a shell for 2 sided per part. Comes in around 1.7 LBS.

When I see those, I just hope the new owners will appriciate the real beauty you have in them. And that the music played with the instrument will produce that beauty through its tones. LG They are really creations of beauty! I have only play a dulcimer, from many years ago. Oh yea, have played the wash-tub bass which was more my style in family gatherens :)
