I am building a table to put my CW on and would like to incorporate its own dust collector underneath.
which dust collector would be best?
what would be the minimum hp i would need?

yeah, it is about the dust cap. i am talking about the vacuum end where the dust is collected into.
i want the vacuum underneath with the collection bag off to the side.
sorry after re-reading i realize i did not make that very clear. :-)

We usually suggest that you dust collector move at least 600 CFM of air.
You may also wish to consider a top mounted vacuum head. Here is a link showing three such models.

There are several threads that discuss all sorts of dust collection options in that section. Some are about the dust cap, but the vast majority on are on standard dust collection systems that have been adapted to the CW. If you still cant find relevant threads, let me know and I'll give you a short list of some of the most complete threads.

Bayea, take a good look at Rockler.com , there is a small wall mount unit(650 CFM) that appears it could be mounted underneath the table
or on the wall near your unit. It has a 4" port, what you are looking for is min 650 cfm not just hp.
For my money and it has done very well for me, take a look at Floyd Harris at www.ringneckbluesAringneckblues.co (http://www.ringneckbluesAringneckblues.co) for his DC insert version.
I comes ready to attach and go.

I'm using a top mount dust collector designed by fredricks attached to a HF dust collector mounted to the wall in my shop via a garbage can venturi. The venturi solved my problem of the dust bag filling to quickly. I used another vac head caved from a ptn from fletcher I believe. It is wider than the fredricks design but it did seem to pull up dust as well. I believe that the airfoil shape on the leading edge of the fredricks design is what makes the difference and I will attempt to add that feature to the wider design. The whole thing is not perfect but it does a pretty good job.
