Check out Megan playing a liquidviolin " Carvewright born".

"All-girl New Yorkers Lunic make distinctive and sultry psychedelic indie with hints of downbeat British electronica acts The xx and Portishead, mournful dashes of violin and melodic lead guitar flourishes." -NXNE

Megan lives in Brooklyn with her husband who works as a engineer making records.

Her violin and Midi work is inpressive.

Thanks Ken!... the best part of building junk is to see what people can do with it.

+1 to all

My oldest son is in his second year of violin-- I've promised him an instrument when he signs up for his third year of strings (the time between the 2nd and the 3rd year is evidently when many kids give up) I don't know yet if I'm going to try things out on the CW or use a kit and go more traditional but your instruments are truly an inspiration. In either case I will be doing some fun with some analine dyes and it will be an electric violin. He already owns a pretty decent Yamaha.

Thanks for sharing this great link with us-and keeping us all in awe of the work that you do.
