Exporting STL files to be used by other software.

Got a request from someone to see if I could scan in an object for him. He has a home built CNC and wants me to scan a piece to see if I can make a model for him.

After the scan and brining into PE, can I then save/export it as an STL so he can then take it into his CAD software for his machine?

Yep, if his software will handle 3d, STL's. The STL's you will turn out will work with aspire, artcam, etc. That is assuming you have the STL importer/exporter addon for designer.
