Say, dose any one have a rectangle pattern that they would like to share?
Thank you.

rectangles are under "drawings" or under the icon picture of a retangle. Then you can use" carve region", select surface ,select texture, and have fun. also try "select puffing" for the raised panal look,

Dan,
What I am looking to do is to lay another ptn over top of part of the rectangle and do a cave and cut out, I believe I need a ptn for that, is that correct?

You can design your rectangle, add a carve region to it, group it, and create your own pattern from it. Then you can edit however needed.

If I wasn't so "computor stupid" I would try to help. I'm sure someone will chime in and help us. Thats a nice thing about the forum , no one cares how much you know , there's always someone who will help.

Robert,
here is one I made with rounded edges. I use it a lot for signs.

No problem Robert. It should work for you. And, if it doesn't there are numerous other ways and a few good suggestions so far on how to achieve what you are wanting. I'm sure that others will chime in as well.
