So, At the end of the month, we're moving into a new home. And, the new house has no pantry. No place to put our food. So, the wife has comissioned me to remedy this issue. So, I'm building a hutch, cupboard, cabinet whatever. Shelves will be sitting on top. I'm on day two now, thought I'll share some pictures. Stay tuned for updates!

DAY 5

I was able to work some on the shelf's that sit on top but, not much more. Had the pulley from my table saw fall off and, I still can't find it. LMAO! So I had to buy another one and install it. Spent most of the day looking around for a place to buy a new one. With the heat wave, was 111 here yesterday, I can't stay longer in the shop than 1:30 or 2 pm. I have 16 days left till this thing must be done, I"m determined to complete it!

I agree with MT the contrast is great. At first I was surprised at the black paint, then after looking at the project I really liked it. Great job.

I am going to show this to my wife to consider for our kitchen cabinets. I have been thinking of sanding the face frames and making new drawers and doors. We have stainless steel and black appliances so this might work. Be sure and post completed pics!
