This looks to be the best spot to ask, does anyone know how to copyright your work?

Since several members have responded, I decided to attach the form (TX) I use here.
Attached is one Copyright form.
At the top, is the U.S. Copyright Office link.
On 6/20/2011, my search shows the current cost to file this form is $65.00. The process may take over 6 months to complete, however, you are protected from the date of
filing (just keep a copy).

I send mine via registered, rcpt requested.

Bud, This particular from is for literary work such as poems and essays. Does is also apply to designs with the CW? Form VA appears to be more in the category I am looking at. Does this make sense?

Does this make sense?I used the TX form for my CW-vacuum Head, which had instructions included. It may depend upon your item. The VA form currently has the same cost.
If in doubt call the number at the top of the form.
