Oak Anchor Lamp

My first project when I got the CarveWright. A friend of my wife's was having a baby. And, she wanted a boat theme for the baby's room.

I carved out two anchors and glued them together, then carved a ship wheel for the base. ran a 1/4in dado down the middle of the back before carving the anchors for the cord. Got a lamp kit from Menards.

Thanks for the compliments! If anyone's intrested, here's the file I made in photoshop for the anchor to share. The first one is the PNG that I used to carve, looks weird when I upload it here. Might be because there is no background. The second is a JPG of it.
