Has anyone used "lighting gels" like they use in the theatrical industry also known as light filters ( change white light to what ever color your looking for). I have white cast acrylic and the company i purchase from doesn't stock anything else. I was wondering if i used a tan or yellow acrylic sheet of lighting gel to change the white led lights to a tan-ish or sepia effect.

Thanks for any help

I've use a an Air brush with simi-transparent acrylic colors to get effects that you mentioned,
on White Cast Acrylic and Corian lithos with very good results.

I would love to see some pics of those painted lithos if you have them?

Here's a Thread form 2009 "Colored Lithos (http://forum.carvewright.com/showthread.php?10342-Colored-Lithos&highlight=lithos)" that shows a couple techniques
that have been used by folks on the forum in the past.

WoW... those colored lithos look great. Got the wheels turning in the head now... don't know why they're turning though. : )

Yeah Jerry i know but it takes so long to get them from China i prefer to just have one color with the color being modified by film of paint.... sometimes it a $$$ thing ha ha ha
