Query regarding Centerline Text and Quality

Answer may be obvious - but never hurts to ask........

When using the Centerline function to engrave text, does the Quality setting have an effect on the cutting?

Have a project that will essentially entail only the Centerline text - and just wondering whether or not to go the Optimal route in this case.

My test load of a centerline test (no other carving) was 10 minutes on Normal. Increasing to Optimal raise the test to 10:59, which is much less of a jump that the same change for a Raster carve.

I would use Optimal, just on a chance that I might improve the quality.

Thanks, Bud. Thought the answer might be obvious.............but not THAT obvious!

Never thought about setting up a test carve and let the system answer my query.

Sigh. So much to learn. So many opportunities to confirm my ignorance.
