How deep can the carvewright cut

Will the CW machine cut deeper than 0.808 ? Is there anyway I can cut an area 1.5" deep
on a piece of wood 8x10x2

Carving - no. The cutting flutes on the carving bit too short.

Yes, the 1/8" cutting bit will CUT up to 1" deep. The Carving bits are limited to 0.8". The software will not let you set a cut deeper than the bit/machine can handle.
