Been awhile since I have applied power to my machine and I can't remember the procedure
to make a cut path or cut out on a board.
I can design the cutout that I want but I'm not getting the dots connected so that I can make a cut path.
Your assistance will be appreciated very much

Mike

Mike,

Try using the "toggle non end points" under the VIEW tab. It should show the ends that are not connected...

The key is to "Toggle Non-Endpoints"!
Highlight your item and then click on VIEW > TOGGLE NON-ENDPOINTS (TNEP).
The red dots need to merge and will glow RED when you move them into place.
Once you have eliminated all those red dots, the "Cut" and "Carve Area" Icons will both activate.
My "Download" link, below, has 2 lessons that will help you understand how to connect lines. Look first at "Cut Path Problems" (It shows many paths being connected/closed, even though it is only a line the length of the board). Next, view the lesson on "Closed Figures" and see the method we used prior to the "TNEP" Icon.
