A lot of people actually use building scraps. A guy I know, who does custom kitchen work, actually gives away some of the scraps that he has left over from jobs. Unfortunately, none of the scraps have been large enough for any good project, but its a start.

I have a connection for scraps and sink cutouts. sink cutouts are a good size 16.5 x 27 for a double kitchen sink. Oddly enough I have not done a single corian piece yet, but I have only had machine a few months.

Gregsolano- yep, found a guy through a friend who saves me his cutouts and extra pieces then once every other month I pick them up.
Lawrence- Been doing corian for almost two years, paint them with my wifes latex "ceramics" paints, her forgotten art, and coat them with clear laquer spray Walmart 2.99. Haven't had a problem yet, knock on wood.

Nice Job on the Corian , I like the first one, I'll try something like that for my Oldest Son.
He's been brewing his own for a few years now, ---- Some of it's even Drinkable!!!
