Mortise with the Carvewright

Hello, I am trying to carve a 1.5" x .4375" x .375 Deep mortise for a rack using the .1875
cutting bit. Should I set the bit to have a .125 inset to get the correct size? I cannot seem to get it wright Please help!

Hello,

If you want the bit to cut inside the line, set the offset to the radius of the bit...closest you can get to the radius of the 3/16" bit is .094"
