I've been keeping an eye on estimated and actual run times-- it appears to me that the actual run time for many of my new objects is 1/3 to 1/2 times the "estimated carve time" for a project. Is anyone else running into this bug? The motor is registering the actual carve time accurately--it is just the estimate that is way off (especially on DXF files)

Lawrence,

Extra run time has been reported or mentioned a few time over the years,
it seem to be common with both the CW and CC Machines.
I've just got into the habit, when necessary of writing down the
acctual carve times for pricing purposes.

Hi Lawrence,

I've found the estimated times to be pretty accurate - at least for "Best" and "Optimal" settings (the only two settings I use).

When I make the projects, I write down the estimated times, then run the project keeping track of actual time. On comparison, they are within just a few minutes of each other.

I think the clock keeps running while the machine is sitting idle, (bit changes, pause to clean, etc.).
