Wondering about second hand machines

There is a used machine in my area on craigs list, it has 53 hours cut motor time, looks to be either an A or B model so it as the QC spindle, not sure if it is worth the investment the guy wants 500 for it and it comes with 13 bits, 5 carving bits, a couple straight bits and several decorative bits. Im not a fan if buying used tools of this sophistication but im looking to see if anyone has had any luck/ problems buying used CW's

I recommend new C machines from LHR if it's your first.

if you get a older A or B machine you need to take the QC off and burn it in a deep lava pit then order the CT.
