I still have the original bit holder. In there any tricks to getting a stuck bit out?

Sling Shot..... Pull the QC outer shell back with 2 fingers and let it snap forward..... sling shot.... Place something soft under bit to not damage the tip.

Also the QC Wrench works like a can opener too...

The one of the set screws probably backed out. The only way I ever got that kind of stuck bit nolder out was with a lot of bashing and prying. Not recomended under warentee. Use the bit remover and hit it with a hammer kind of hard. Work you way around to all sides. Eventualy you will get it out. When you do, always check the set screws before starting a project, or better yet, get the CT spindle and never have this kind of problem again and carve cleaner and quieter.
