How to rotate a pattern

How do I twist and turn the pattern I just made? I want to make a picture frame with this carve region around it but I want to have i twisted in different directions arount the frame. Can this be done?

You cant' rotate a collection of shapes drawn in Designer, but you can rotate patterns. So make a pattern. Draw the three circles mouse the pattern with Paint or paint.net. Import the image to make a pattern. You can then place the pattern and rotate it.

If you're talking about Mickey, it's fairly simple.
Since you have already made it a carve Area, you're part way done!
Highlight Mickey, in the carving list, and click on "Group". Now, highlight both Mickey and the Group Icon as well. This will activate the "Make Pattern" Icon (It's just left of the Extract patterns Icom on my screen).

Once you have made the pattern, you may access it as normal and rotate it as you wish.
