Machine won't turn on

Just bought it, looking foeward to using it, but it won't turn on. Anyone else have that problem?

Do you have a formatted card inserted in the card slot? Make sure the machine is off or unplugged and insert the card, only then will anything show on the LCD.

I had to take the card out and insert it a few times before it recognized it and turned on, but haven't had that problem in a while.

The other thing to make sure is adjusted is the diplay contrast. My machine came with the contrast turned all the way up to where the text wouldn't show. Put the card in and turn it on and play with the contrast button on the displat.
