Why would the CW all of a sudden stop and ask for the authorization code again?
I ask because mine just did it. It finished a scan and then asked for the code before I could do anything else. I'm not that concerned, it took the code just fine, but I was wondering if it was a sign of something else coming up to go wrong...
I think I'm getting a little paranoid with this thing...

Well, I didn't think of that, LG. But I have two cards, and it didn't matter which one I put in. Both did it. Kinda weird...

Is there any chance that you accidentally went into User Options and hit #8 Lock Machine?

I don't 'think' so. But at this point I'm willing to admit that something weird happened, and if it was user inflicted, so much the better. I can learn faster than the machine can be fixed!

Is is something to do with the Pattern Editor or other software like STL?

No, it was the code you have to put in when you first get the machine. I'm hoping I just pushed something I shouldn't have. I don't think so, but I guess we'll see when I try to use the machine tomorrow.

Software engineers alerted. We'll see if it happens again.

I work and coordinate with Software Engineers and Scientists a lot. I hate it when we have to 'Alert' them! Calculators go flying, computers are on overdrive.. LOL
