Look at the last letter and compare it to the same letter in the word.
The e is partially chopped off.

Anyone know why this is happening???

Thanks all

I think we would need to see the MPC file to be able to help diagnose what is causing this effect on your board.

What font are you using? If you use a word with an ending letter other than "e" do you get the same thing? Try adding a space after the last "e". Then try it again with a different font.

The top font on this mpc is Black Chancery. The bottom is Lucinda. It does not mater what font I tried same effect.

The MPC looks fine on my machine. Can you see a difference in the mpc or just when carving?

I've had this happen on a few fonts, I just got used to adding a space after the last letter in the row.

Yes, as posted above... That is the correct fix for this problem.... I have had it in Commercial Script too in the first letter with a long tail.... Learned that a few years ago.... So watch for it in Designer and add a space before and after the word...

There must be some difference in our font rendering or screen resolution. I'm not seeing any cut off on the e's as shown below they look very normal. No change made to the MPC, just opened it up in Designer and took this screen snapshot.

That is Interesting... Back when our buddy Chris and I were doing Camp Signs and trading Artwork... Designer Changed the FONT when I opened the file he sent that I did not have the Font loaded in MY computer that HE had.... That messed us up... I cut a few signs and when he saw them he said... "YOU CHANGED MY FONT !!!"..... I went "DA"..... Designer did not warn me like Corel Draw does...

BUT NOW... This .mpc has a font that I had in my DEAD Laptop and used often when IKE turned me on to it.... I have not loaded it here yet....

So it shows up on the list as the FONT but not loaded in my computer.... SO is this the correct Font as per designer and Is MY computer and Capt. Bruce's computer displaying ANOTHER FONT.... Capt Bruce, if you click on the word, what FONT shows up?

What font did gwizpro use?

I did not see an answer to " does the happen just on the carve, or is it chopped off in the computer display also", because I have both those fonts and it looks fine in designer to me. Capt Bruce is not showing Black Chancery - on of my favorites. I use it for my title on my cards and the projects I post in the store.

This gets more and more curious. I have Black Chancery installed and use it quite often as it carves beautifully in Centerline.

I went back and opened the earlier MPC again as posted by GWHIZPRO. I highlighted the individual words and here's what I see in the Text Tool selection screen.

43217

The red arrows point to the selected text in the MPC and to a "font name", but it's not the True Type Black Chancery I have installed in Windows. When I clicked on the yellow highlighted version (my installed font) it changed to what we are used to seeing Clint. (By the way no distortion of the letter e) Looks like we have at least one more variable thrown in here to muddy the solution. If I'm not mistaken the first illustration with this querry was a screen shot in Designer so it was appearing there with the interrupted e's.

I did notice that the title for GWHIZPRO's version of the first font is BlackChancery (all one word).
