Low resolution image in is going to be low resolution out of the machine. Also, if you are importing and working off of greyscale, it is not going to look as good in wood as it would in a lithophane carved in acrylic.

One suggestion I have done in the past is to find a silhouette and then use the drawing tools to trace it. It is still a silhouette.

Finding a high resolution image or 3d image would be the key. Not sure how much luck you will have with that. I'm sure his images are copyrighted.

OK...I can't stop myself. I did a quick search of MJ & peace sign. He has evidently been sticking up the peace sign since he was very little. So my question is....which Michael do you want? Young MJ or Older MJ, with nose or without?!

Sorry, I grew up listening to his music which I have always loved and remember when we all couldn't wait for the premiere of the Thriller video. So no disrespect to Michael, the King of Pop....I'm just feeling a little mischievous today.
