Why Can't I add Pictures to My Album

I added (2) pictures fine, then I realized I put the wrong pic's in there I deleted the picture's how when I want to re upload the correct ones it says the file exceeds the limit???????

The file you're uploading might be a bit large in size (referring to file size) and need to be compressed down. By compressing the image you can make the file size smaller without the need to reduce the actual image size.

how and where is this done? the images are only 43 KB and 78 KB in size

This is a known bug that has been around for months and never fixed. I suspect that it is a bug in the PHP script that can't be fixed by the moderator or staff. There is no work around. It simply doesn't work very well.
