Thanks to everyone welcoming me to the community.

I'm bringing my machine home on Monday or Tuesday. I'm hoping Canada Customs will not give me a hard time. Any advice on how to deal with them is appreciated. I believe I should only have to pay the HST and that no duties apply.

... Peter (btw jakab is my last name ;))

I just curious, but why would there be no duty?

Hi Terry, I believe this machine is considered a kind of router and according to one website I visited importing any router frm the USA has no duties payable. I might be wrong, although I hope I am not:D.

You do have to pay sales tax (HST).

I'll find out next week for sure.

Oooohhhhh yeahh! My shipping manager (Kathy) just told me that according the the new trade agreements even the items we make, sell and ship to Canada are duty free. I knew that, I was just testing y'all.
