The double arrow is in wingdings.. I didnt find an exact match tot he first arrow yet tho. See attached. If you are running a windows computer, just run "charmap.exe"

Did you still need an exact match to the single right arrow , or you just wanted the general shape and you can use one of the right arrows in one of the wingdings or symbol typeface?

Tom,
You will find your solution in Wingdings3.
The "^" is the Left arrow, and the "_" is the Right.

The left arrow will work as you wish, However, The double arrow will take a little manipulation to accomplish. It will not be a true Centerline.

1) Bring in either arrow as Raster.
2) Click on "Center Vertically", and move it so part of the tail passes the upright center grid line.
3) Mirror this arrow (Your tails should overlap)
4) Highlight both, and select "Outline".
5) Delete all outlines except the double arrow (I do this in the Carving List, rather than on the actual arrow).
6) Delete the two TEXT entries.
7) Highlight you outline, and select your bit and the depth you wish.
8.) Move it, and size it as you wish.

If you need to rotate it to an odd angle, review my lesson on "Rotate a connected line figure" in my "Download" link below.

Thanks Bud I appreciate your detailed instructions.
I will give it a try and see how it works out.
The single arrow does not have to be exact, just close.
If I get it right it will be an order for 30 signs for a trail near Seattle!
Thanks again Bud and Doug.

If you didnt notice, when you select a character in charmap, it will also allow you to copy it to your paste buffer and at the bottom it tells you what keystrokes you need to also just type the character.
