This was my first time adding any color to a project. A simple free pattern carved in walnut, then sanding sealer followed by paint, sanding, and stain/finish. Ya gotta love walnut.

Nice, and I do love walnut and don't think I could force myself to put paint on such beautiful wood.

I know, right? I felt dirty painting it - don't usually put color on anything, especially such a good-looking wood like that, but I'd been reading about it on here and decided to give it a whirl.

Nice work. And thanks for posting the site. I went there and Immediately registered. I have d/l a lot of files from the gallery, but this is easier to see them.

very nice piece-- it makes me wonder if you could carve in chocolate and fill in with white chocolate ;)

Seriously though, I'm sure that will go over better even than chocolate would (and last longer too)
