Controlling depth of cut with software

Hi, brand new to the machine; haven't used it yet. I am trying to find the way to control the bit depth per pass using the software. Ex, if the pattern calls for a .250" depth of cut for a rectangle, how do I control getting there by (say) four passes, each pass progressively deeper by 0.0625" per pass until I reach the 0.250" called for depth?

The software controls how deep each pass will be. No operator intervention required.
