Error 204 back roller fault

I just went back to the shop and tried again , on my board layout I had selected 1/2 thick and that was the thickness I was using , but when I put in a 3/4 thick board in , it started to work . Does this make any since to anyone?

Just be sure that the roller rolls. It was probably not enough down pressure the first board or maybe the board had a little warp to it.

I recall seeing somewhere in the manual the 3/4" stock is the min suggested thickness (I think).

negative Jeff, I've run 3/8", but I had to paint the left guide rail flat black. He's talking about the back roller which is either a pressure thing, dust, or the board problem.
