Thanks guys.

Here is hawk I tried but don't have time to finish it today. This one is a little more tricky, it looks similar to a parakeet in apperance with a bit of a hood and tapered beak. I was able to taper the wings but ended up looking lower than the body. The patch under the eye is a pain and needs smoothed so it doesn't end up chipping.

Here is the base image if anyone wants to work on it.

single rose...

what I find most interesting about this MPC is that you do not need to do a "carve region" to have it work properly. I can see using this technique in the future. (the pattern was freely shared on another forum)

I explain it all here-- hope this helps. This is where I'm getting 95% of these--the rest are from just looking around the 'net for 3ds, rlf, greyscale bmp, etc files that folks share and importing them.

When I was hired to make all new signage for the Mountain View Lodges in the U.P. of Michigan, I made this bear head and used it on a stop sign.....lol.....it looks great in a larger scale, smaller might need some adjustments but the owners loved this one.....carves out nice on cedar.

A little something for the sweetheart in your life.
This again was from the gray-scale image site, so respect their requirements of usage.

Note: I did sculpt the rose a little to give it better details.

Thanks everyone. I like a lot of the gray-scale images, so I am taking the time to create their work of art into patterns, well at least the ones I like :-D

I agree Eddie. Out of 270 or so pages there were only a dozen or so I kept to make patterns from.

Finally got to playing around with Aspire modeling tools. I had nothing in mind was just kinda playing with the functions. From what I have seen this could easily be done using the 3d tools of CW..looks pretty similar and lot less cost. Just sweeps and tilt pretty much

Simple pear leaf pattern enclosed. I added an mpc (sorry designer 2xx) on building a small scene with it. Just copied and pasted and then changed size and orientation.

Looking for a pattern to make for my garden, need for radish and one for watermelon. Any help would sure make my day. Thanks in advance.

Here is a quick effort for a radish pattern. Are you still playing with blender? (I gave up 3 times on it before it finally stuck)

The pattern is of only one radish but you can add more at different depths and angles to make up the bunch (example shown and mpc added of the pictured design). I would recommend a small draft due to the thin parts of the pattern.

Perfect, thanks I'll give it a carve this weekend. I've been playing around a bit but with nice weather here now I don't get much time to spend on the computer but haven't given up.

Darn, I'm running the older version and can't open it, can you make it for 1.187 version of designer? I really like the bunch, but I guess I could always put several of the pnt patterns together.

Jerry, sorry just saw the entry. I just made a pattern of the bundle to make it easy.

I'm in the process of moving so will have internet for a few more days but then will be down until the 17th. That was the earliest we could get them to come out.

Just thought I'd post the radishes sign I carved, again I thank you. Here are a couple others I have carved too. Sure adds a little character to the garden. Oh, and I'm not an artist by any means, just a quick paint job worked for me.

Enclosed is a simple squash pattern that can be used for garden signs if you so choose.

P.S. forgot to mention as a footnote, that if you handle Carolina Reaper and then rub your eyes you get the oddest sensation of pain and then more pain. Just in case anyone wants to try it for fun.

I planted some Carolina Reaper so will have fresh from the garden this year. Yummm.
