I have a Crfaftsman compucarve for sale, the unit was refurbished and we only put 14 hours on it. This is the original machine and was bought about 9-10 months ago. The machine has a z-axis error when booted up. I have an extra z-axis motor with it that is brand new and it did not fix the error so I am selling it as is.

You know it can be a simple as checking the Ffc ribbon cable. I am getting a z axis stall error and I know it is my Ffc cable, my cable is bad, but yours could be need plug in correctly or you may crimped your like I did? BTW what model do you have? Plus if was bought new you are still under warranty so LHR should help you.

I gave up on the Carvewright and ended up getting a 4x8 machine
