A couple completed projects

I posted a photo of the alphabet plaque in the ideas thread before my wife painted it. It came out great and the recipients loved it, and I already have an order for another one. The Yoshi (video game character) plaque was a request by my son for his girlfriend. I did most of the design using a font that is used in the video game and tracing a picture found online, but he painted it.

I remember when the idea for the ABC plaque was posted and I thought it would make a wonderful wall hanging....and I'm right. It's a wonderful carve and a great paint job. You'll have to take the wife out to dinner for her efforts.
