I'm replacing the bearings in the head of the z-truck and was looking at the circuit board inside the truck. I know the plug-in port for the probe is no longer used in the head.
That same circuit board also covers up a square hole looking into the spindle. There is paint or something on the spindle except for a round milled spot. This appears to be an RPM censor . Is that what this is?
