Hi all,

I know it has been mentioned before, but i wish a demo with out save features was avialable before buying the stl software.

So anyway, I have been playing with sketchup and an stl plugin with some of the available free 3d models.

I was wondering if anyone could take the stl file and let me know how it converts quality and sizewise.

I am not sure i have the time or skills to develop my own 3d patterns, but if this works, i can see where the stl software would beneficial.

it is a 2.65 MB file, so i will have to email it to you.

Thanks
Jesse

Jesse,

The new versions of the Carvewright software have a demo for the STL importer built into them. The only thing is that you can't save. Actually, all software packages we currently have can now be demo'd!!!!!

Simply update to the newest version at www.carvewright.com/update, and you should be able to play around with the software package yourself to get a feel for it.

Thanks,

I didnt know that. I'll have to download the newer version on a different machine and give it a go.
