Sawdust in the y motor window?

Just noticed some sawdust under the clear window of the y motor cog. Is this a problem needing immediate removal? Seems to be stuck in the grease on the cog. If it needs changing what kind of grease to use. Also there is a small hole in the clear plastic where the small cog turns the larger cog. Is that normal.

A small amount of dust there shouldn't interfere with the operation. whenever you remove the Y or Zmotor, is a good time to clean it out. I believe it is a standard lithium bearing grease.

Don't have any good pictures of the plastic cover but the big plastic gear passes through a hole in it... I am sure I have dust in my Z Gear Box too....

I seal the clear cover back on with clear tape...

Any light grease will work.

Thanks guys, I had the top off so I went ahead and cleaned it... No dust, no worry.
