Here are two sets of e violin made from maple off the Oregon Coast.
conform vectors was used to make the frets and small fingerboard shell.

BTW... How much of an impact does wood selection make in the final sound of your instruments? Or becuase they are not acustic does it not have much impact?

Hi Doug,

Very kind..

Seems to have a impact to the tone and acoustic output "as well as what finish i use" as the body's are only .125" thick overall, without amp i get about 80 to 90 Db! thats loud for a electric violin..

I love the ammonite flesh reconstructions! The wavy grain of the maple kind of mimmics the suture patterns. Wish I knew a paleontologist that plays violin- would be a must-have.
