I wasn't sure where to post this but here goes.... I seen this on Steve Good's page today, he talks about the Sand-Flee and has a youtube link to it. Looks like a cool machine, a bit on the high dollar side, seen it for around $450 Does anyone here have one of these machine and if so what do you think of it?

Hi Jerry,

I've been using mine since I bought it a couple of years ago,
It's well built with no problems, plus mine is suited to 90% of my needs for surface and edge sanding
in my shop. I have the 18" roller model to finish sand any thing that fits through my carving machine or plainer .

Hi Jerry,

I picked up a 18" model and I'm very happy with it.

I like Ken think the sander is built very well. It comes with a Baldor motor and the chrome plated top is made to last a lifetime. The adjustable fence is handy and and allows one to use it as a jointer . Another nice feature is the power takeoff this makes it handy to attach a sanding mop. The Velcro drum makes it a snap to change sandpaper. You just have to make sure you keep the board moving or you can get a low spot very easily. This is a perfect machine for someone with limited space.

I got a pretty good deal at the time from Sears using Bing Cash. Shipped to my door for around $460.00.

It is on my wish list.... About 10 years ago when they still had Wood Shows at Philly a guy sold the roller kit to make your own... I have the thickness sander but for doing things like final finishing on clocks and cutouts this would be great. O' the wish list....
