What is the best lube to use on the bit locator plate?

I have been cleaning and blowing it off but it is sticking a bit. I have seen 3 in 1 oil and silicone. Any suggestions from the senior members?

I use the spray dry lube teflone and I know others use a chain wax. One thing you might check is to see if there are any burrs on the bottom of the z truck and the end of the bit plate. Also see if you are getting any restriction on the movement of the z truck when it gets to the bit plate. Most common problem is the wires in the far back corner off of the cut motor. If your wires has the plastic wire cover take it off to gain just a bit more room..

Careful with the WD 40 and Silicone as when it gets on a board you plan to finish, it causes fish eyes....

I had problems until I started lubing the mechanism from underneath - not from the top.
