I was wondering if there is an easy way to get equally spaced holes on a board. What I have is a board that is 7.375 X 5.5 and I want 25 holes equally spaced on this board and not using the edge at all. I got it close and I used 2 different grids but it took some time to come with what I have and it isn't any where near perfect.
This is what I came up with. Thanks

since you are not looking for eqi-distant horizontal and vertical spaced holes, the two grids is probably your best option... some simple math... set you grid and drop you holes. If the math happens to work out where one is a multiple of the other, then u can get away with one grid. But since we dont have an option of specifying different vertical and horizontal spacings, you probably did it the best way in designer.

Or.. just whip it up ins another programs that exports to .ai 8.0 and run it thru ai2mpc

a free cad prog and the dxf importer would work too.
