I made 2 cutting boards (one shown here) from 1 piece of glued up scraps of cherry and walnut. The carving area for the 2 cutting boards is approximately 25” L x 10” W and the size of the stock is approximately 32” L x 10” W. After carving, I then used the extra 3 ˝” on each end (I hate to waste that) as part of each cutting board and cut a “handle” on each as shown.
NOTE: I got the idea for the carved portion of the design from someone else; it’s not an original of mine.
I’m attaching the MPC file in case anyone else is interested in using it. The MPC file may also help to explain better what I have done.
