Flexshaft Lube

Guys and Gals,

Just lubed up the ole flexshaft today. I never had any heat issues or aything I just thought it was time to do it. So my question what is the rule of thumb for lubing the flexshaft if there are no problems. Like every 100 hours, 250 hours etc??

I lube every 150-200 hours if it needs it or not. just make sure you use the correct type lube that is mentioned many times in lots of posts.

Can you tell any kind of difference by lubing? I was thinking of adding it to my 250 hr regime which is where I change the "Y" motor bushings and cut motor brushes.
