need help in sizing

Yes, I am a brand new carvewright owner. I was following the tutorial for design project 2, I was able to get the grapes & vines on board & sized. Then it came time for the words, I don't know if I hit a button i shouldn't of or what, as I was unable to size the word. I even had my husband look at this and he couldn't figure out how to size the words. I would really appreciate any help or hints of my I might be doing wrong. Thanks in advance
