Wasn't for sure where to post this thread. I was curious if there is a font design software out there that can be used with the ttf. I would like to make a few signs that have a wavy text, but unsure how to do it.....any help would be appreciated.

This is a powerful feature of the CW, especially if you have the "Centerline" add-on. See here for more info... http://www.carvewright.com/2010CWweb/downloads/tips/CarveWrightTips&Tricks_May09.pdf

Fletcher,

Thank you for your input, I was aware of the dingbat's tips & tricks.....I attached a pic of what I'm trying to describe, I'm sure after having 53 reviews and having only one reply that either I posted in the wrong area, other's aren't sure or others didn't understand what I'm talking about.....lol.....I'm gonna guess the third.

38527 I would like to put curves in my words like the one in the picture.......thanks again

This isn't anything new. It's been happening intermitantly from the start with the new forum I think. I'm not sure what is causing it.

But it isn't occuring with everyone, only certain folks. I'm starting to wonder if it is a browser compatibility issue.

Just an FYI...

I just opened this same page on IE 8, and encounter the issue. What browsers are you guys running?

I dont think so.... I just tried using IE 8, Firefox, and google chrome on XP SP3. Same message on all of them. I also tried with ubuntu using firefox... same thing there as well.

To me the error message seems to indicate a server-side issue... but im' not betting anything on it either!

Same problem at my end. I use Firefox most of the time...(I use IE8 only when I have to access ArtCAM helpfiles, etc.)

I just chalked it up to an error in the way the poster chose to make the attachment. Whether "inline" or what ever the choice is.

I use this program;

An advanced feature set makes it the tool of choice for professionals, and its intuitive interface is straightforward enough for users at any expertise level. Not sure if this helps shed light on anything, but I have noticed the following:

Attachemnts that appear like this dont seem to work for many of us on the forum

http://forum.carvewright.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=38527

Attachments that look like this, generally do (these are bud's and mine's attachments that are shown in previous posts in this thread)

I'm not really sure how the "d" field is being used by the webserver... but apparently it must be important.

edit: the forum sofware has reformated what I orginally posted, so I apoligize ..i've tried to fix this with quote tages... but not sure that will help

2nd edit: quote tags didnt help so I removed them.

I've noticed the inline attachments do not work for me (unless they point to a link outside of the forum). Perhaps we can advise folks not to use the inline option when they use attachments until this is fixed.

Thanks MT,

Like others I've noticed about a 1/4 to a 1/3 of the posted attachments have not been opening
on either of my Pc's or my Laptop since the new forum format started, -- I'll be looking forward for the Fix.
