Can the machine do joinery?

The CarveWright can currently do miter and bevel cuts and can be commanded to do dados and rabbets. Future software packages will include other joinery functions like Dovetails.

Great question. Carvewright stated back in Dec. of 2006 that this capability would be in future versions. This was a year ago.
