Got the Northern Tool Catalog the other day and saw they had Carvewright machines listed. New one OF the older version is listed for $1689 with free shipping! They also have full set of bits for $300 also FREE SHIPPING! You could get the ROCK for another $150 and have a new set up. ALSO included is a one year warranty for free! 12 months parts 12 months labor? As listed on line, go from there. If you got all this through LHR cost would be $2325.85 VS $2139 FROM NORTHERN WITH ROCK & FULL SET OF BITS & 12 month warranty!

Info only
Also saw they have the cutting bit along with the carving bit, $40 with FREE shipping!

We love it when customers find deals on our machine whether it comes from us or one of our dealers!!

The numbers reflected here are not exactly correct and the new machine from Northern Tools will come with the CarveTight Spindle already installed. Guess the deal just got a whole lot sweeter at $1989!!!

The same setup from LHR (when we are not having a sale, which we tend to do around holidays) is $2278.98. That's machine, one year warranty, full bit set & shipping.

With the CarveTight Spindle this does make a pretty good deal. I was just going by their advertisment;

"Features patented "quick change" system that simplifies changing bits".

Won't need the Rock. Kind of maken me think which ain't good.

The listing at Northern Tools mentions the old QC and bits with adaptor. If they are selling the new version with the carvetight, maybe they should update their description.

We are still working on getting all of the dealers updated with new information. There may be just a few that still have a new machine with the Old Style QC in stock. Just call them or us to find out. If it is shipped from us, it is Version C.
