View Full Version : Wind Spirit pattern needed

Morning all. Hope your day will be busy making saw dust.

I am looking for a wind spirit pattern that can show detail when reduced down to about 2-1/2" to 3" wide. I did the " " search without any luck. Any help will be appreciated.

What is a Wind Spirit? - do you have a good quality photo (or any photo) you can post?

MT, here's a link of something similar to what I'm seeking. They also look alot like a wood spirit. I like the wind spirits a bit better.

I do not have a good quality photo to show here. Lot's of walking stick carvers carve these into fine pieces.

Would this wood spirit carve in a walking stick (tree branch) about 1.25" or 1.5" on the round if it was on a sled?
I am looking for something of this quality.

HT, sure I can wait. No rush. I have to catch up on our projects. I just finished turning a cane and now it's in the finishing dept. I have some time.

Hi Chay, the current wood spirit that I have was designed to carve at large size. I'm working on a new design that will carve at smaller size.

I am pleased that you are designing one to carve smaller, I will be interested in getting one myself.
